Royal film costumes from Assassin's Creed on display...

In the movie adaptation of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed video games, Michael Fassbender's death row convict 'Callum Lunch' is rescued from execution and through the joys of fantastical technology called 'The Animus' is able to unlock genetic skills and memories from his killer ancestor 'Aguilar' from the time of the 15th century Spanish Inquisition.

These regal costumes from the time period of his memories were designed by Sammy Sheldon and were photographed on display at ArcLight Sherman Oaks cinema on December 12, 2016, alongside Michael Fassbender's Assassin's Creed Aguilar costume and Ariane Labed's Assassins Creed Maria costume.

As 'Cal Lynch' recalls the memories of his Master Assassin ancestor, and this is an original storyline and not based on any of the video game storylines, we won't know until the film opens whether the King or Queen are targets of the assassin's guild, or whether they've merely employed the talents of the secret society.

I'm not sure if the black veil 'Queen Isabella' is wearing under her crown signifies she's in mourning, or that custom dictates that commoners can't look directly upon the face of her highness.

For more regal gowns, you can also enjoy Helena Bonham Carter's Red Queen costumes from Alice Through the Looking Glass, this Queen Elizabeth I gown from Doctor Who, Susan Sarandon's Enchanted Queen Narisssa costume and Cate Blanchett's Elizabeth: The Golden Age costume.

Stick around in the days to come for even more cool new movie costumes, props and models on display around L.A. at the moment.
