Nathan Lane's movie costume and props from The Producers on display...

In the 2005 remake of Mel Brooks satirical dark musical-comedy, The Producers, Nathan Lane plays the part of 'Max Bialystock', a down-on-his-luck producer who after yet another Broadway flop, decides to team up with a timid accountant in a get-rich-quick scheme to put on the world's worst show, 'Springtime for Hitler'.

This pinstripe suit worn by the actor in the film, which is also based on the 2001 Broadway musical adaptation of the original 1968 film, was photographed together with some Playbill props from the movie on display at Universal Studios Hollywood's archive exhibit on January 20, 2015.

William Ivey Long was Costume Designer on this movie set in New York in 1959.

If you're a fan of big screen musical adaptations, be sure to also check out these other costumes and props from movie musicals, including Into the Woods, Mamma Mia: The Movie, Les Misérables, Rock of Ages and more besides.
